Saughtonhall Summer Sessions - Why?

We thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone at our Easter Family Event in April and it was so much fun we decided we needed to offer more activities like that!
So, this Summer we are organising our first ever 'Saughtonhall Summer Sessions'.

We will be opening up the SCA Hall and grounds regularly throughout the summer holidays and offering a variety of different activities for all the family. There might even be a few local visits for fun events that we can't host at the SCA.

So, parents/grandparents/carers, bring your little people along and join us for some quality family time this summer.

We'll be updating the website with new events - keep in touch to find out more :

  • Bookmark this webpage and check back for updates.

  • Join the SCA to receive news and updates by email.

Recently a group interested in the heritage of the SCA have been looking through the archives.
Who?

The SCA, together with other local organisations, will be organising activities for families in our local community.

We've got a few ideas about the sort of activities that will be on offer, but we'd love to hear your ideas too. Email us.

What?
When?

A range of dates spread across the six weeks of the summer holidays. From Monday 3rd July to Friday 11th August.

Where?

In the SCA Rec Hall and grounds. Plus, we might visit a few other local places for some extra fun!

Why?

The SCA exists to benefit our community, improve life, bring people together, and provide opportunities for recreation.

How?

This is possible because the SCA is a registered charity. We are grateful to everyone who supports what we do and in particular to those who are working with us to make the 'Saughtonhall Summer Sessions' happen.

Fascinating to see from unearthed sketches that in years gone by the SCA offered bowling, tennis, play areas and putting. Hmmm.....wonder what we can offer this summer???
